Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information SessionPulse processes, why it is needed and the choices available to facilitators and participants.
Effective 5 September 2026 · Operated by Ranjeet Singh, India1. Who operates SessionPulse
SessionPulse is operated by Ranjeet Singh in India. For privacy questions, access requests or grievances, contact hello@sessionpulse.in.
2. Information we collect
Facilitator information
When a facilitator creates or accesses an account, we process their name, email address, authentication identifier, selected plan and account activity. If Google sign-in is used, Google and Supabase may provide basic profile information required to authenticate the account.
Session and participant information
We process session titles, questions, response options, participant names or pseudonyms, answers, ratings, quiz results, audience questions, voting activity, response timing and related session analytics.
Technical information
Our hosting and authentication providers may process limited security and operational information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, request logs and cookies needed to provide and protect the service.
3. How we use information
Information is used to authenticate facilitators, operate live sessions, display and analyse responses, produce reports, enforce plan limits, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain security and improve service reliability.
4. Google user data
SessionPulse uses Google sign-in only to establish identity and account access. We use the account identifier, name and email address. SessionPulse does not request access to Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, contacts or other Google content. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising or transferred for unrelated purposes.
5. Facilitator responsibilities
Facilitators decide what questions to ask and whether participants provide a name or pseudonym. Facilitators must give appropriate notice, collect any consent required for their sessions, avoid requesting unnecessary sensitive information and use responses only for legitimate training or engagement purposes.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We use specialist infrastructure and authentication providers, including Google for optional sign-in, Supabase for authentication and managed hosting providers for application delivery and storage. They process information only to provide their respective services. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users or the service, or with the affected person’s direction.
7. Data retention and deletion
Closed sessions on the free Launch plan are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Inactive free-plan drafts may also be deleted after 90 days. Paid-plan retention follows the period displayed for the relevant plan. Account and essential audit information may be retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Deletion from backups may take additional time through normal backup rotation.
8. Security
We use access controls, authenticated facilitator operations, signed secure sessions, data minimisation and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so facilitators should not collect highly sensitive information unless strictly necessary and appropriately protected.
9. International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the user’s country. Where this occurs, we rely on provider safeguards and applicable legal mechanisms while limiting the information shared to what is required to deliver the service.
10. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal data associated with your account, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a grievance by emailing hello@sessionpulse.in. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
11. Children
SessionPulse is designed primarily for professional and organisational training. A facilitator using it with minors is responsible for obtaining appropriate institutional and parental permissions and avoiding unnecessary collection of personal data.
12. Updates
We may update this policy as the service, law or our providers change. Material revisions will be identified by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, communicated through the service.
